Mason Marchment

Mason Marchment is a current NHL forward and a proud Breakaway Hockey alum. During his development years, Mason played for a Breakaway team at a tournament, gaining valuable experience competing in a high-level, team-first environment. Mason’s success serves as inspiration for current Breakaway players, showing what’s possible when preparation meets opportunity.

Justin Danforth

A Breakaway alumnus from Oshawa, Justin went on to build a pro hockey career that led him to the NHL, and as of 2025 he is playing as a forward for the Buffalo Sabres, known for his relentless work ethic, grit, and commitment at the highest level of the game.

Matt Dunlop

A Breakaway alumnus from Uxbridge, Liam played junior hockey with the Elliot Lake Wildcats in the NOJHL and went on to compete collegiately with the University of Wisconsin‑Superior, bringing dedication and skill to every level of the game before transitioning into coaching youth hockey.

Proud to see Travis McMaster, now Director of Player Development with the New York Islanders. I had the opportunity to coach Travis for two years at the midget level in Stouffville — a great example of leadership, work ethic, and long-term development.

Logan is an offensive defenceman currently playing junior hockey with the Stouffville Spirit in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), where he has been a key contributor and assistant captain, known for his smooth skating, playmaking ability, and leadership on the ice.

Ryder McIntyre

Ryder played junior hockey as a power forward in the OHL with the Sarnia Sting, Oshawa Generals and Peterborough Petes before committing to Acadia University to continue his hockey and academic career, known for his leadership, size, and dedication on and off the ice.

Brad Barker

Brad is continuing his hockey journey playing forward for Liberty University’s ACHA Division I men’s hockey team, bringing size, skill, and competitive character to the Flames after junior hockey in the OJHL .

Trevor O’Dell

Trevor plays junior hockey as a defenceman with the Sudbury Wolves in the Ontario Hockey League after being drafted and signing a development agreement with the Windsor Spitfires, known for his size, mobility, and commitment to his progression on the ice.

Alex went on to play NCAA Division I hockey at St. Lawrence University and now competes professionally, inspiring young players with his skill, leadership, and passion for the game.

Andrew Winsor

Andrew went on to play NCAA for SUNY Brockport. He was coached in AAA by Coach Sinclair and went on to compete at higher levels, demonstrating skill, dedication, and a love for the game.

Brady went on to play professional hockey in the NHL and around the world, most recently skating as a defenceman with Kölner Haie in the German DEL, known for his size, physical play, and veteran leadership.

Brendan Bell


Brendan played junior hockey as a left winger with the Barrie Colts in the OHL and continued his Ontario Hockey League career with the Ottawa 67’s, known for his competitive play and dedication to the game before retiring from competitive hockey. He was a key contributor to the OMHA Atom AA  Uxbridge Stars coached by Sinc.

Brendan Gaunce

Brendan has built a pro hockey career in the NHL and AHL and most recently has been playing with the Columbus Blue Jackets organization, known for his strong two-way play, veteran leadership, and tenacity on the ice, Coach Sinclair had him with the Markham Waxers AAA team.

Connor Evans

Connor played junior hockey as a defenceman with the Stouffville Spirit in the OJHL before moving on to compete at the NCAA Division III level with Northland College, known for his strong defensive play and dedication to the game.

Ian Farrell

Ian played junior hockey with the Newmarket Hurricanes before continuing his career overseas, most recently skating professionally with the Erding Gladiators in Germany after several seasons with the KSW IceFighters Leipzig. Coach Sincalir also coached him in  Minor Midget AAA.

Jeff went on to play junior hockey as a defenceman with the Sudbury Wolves in the Ontario Hockey League and continued his hockey journey at Brock University, known for his strong play on the blue line and commitment to the game. Another player coached by Sinc.

Jericho went on to play junior hockey with the New Jersey Hitmen and continued his hockey career at Trinity College in Connecticut, known for his leadership, skill, and passion for the game.

A Breakaway alumnus from Uxbridge, Liam played junior hockey with the Elliot Lake Wildcats in the NOJHL and went on to compete collegiately with the University of Wisconsin‑Superior, bringing dedication and skill to every level of the game before transitioning into coaching youth hockey.

Matthew has continued his hockey career as a defenceman in the OHL with the Kitchener Rangers, signed to an NHL entry‑level contract by the Ottawa Senators and bringing leadership and physical play back to his junior club.

Scott played four seasons in the OHL with the Belleville Bulls before a standout university career with the University of Guelph Gryphons, then went on to play professionally in England with the Manchester Storm and is now serving as an assistant coach with the Guelph Storm in the OHL.

Tanner played junior hockey in the NOJHL with teams like the Elliot Lake Wildcats, Mattawa Blackhawks, and Iroquois Falls Eskis before continuing his hockey journey at Elmira College (NCAA Division III) and moving into coaching and hockey development.

Troy went on to play collegiate hockey as a forward for St. Olaf College after junior hockey with the Brockville Braves (CCHL), earning recognition for his leadership, scoring ability, and academic excellence on and off the ice.
