Breakaway Hockey operates as a tournament‑only spring program. Each boys hockey team will compete in three tournaments, providing players with strong competition, valuable exposure, and unforgettable experiences.

Beyond competition, Spring Hockey is about development, confidence, and connection. It’s an opportunity for players to sharpen their skills, grow as athletes, and build friendships that become the foundation of the Breakaway experience.

One of the most unique and rewarding aspects of our program is bringing players together from across the the  Greater Toronto Area and the Kitchener Waterloo regions. Competing alongside athletes from different organizations encourages players to step outside their comfort zones, form new relationships, and develop friendships that last well beyond the season.

We’re thrilled to announce that Breakaway Hockey is entering its 18th year, nearly two decades of delivering the most affordable, competitive, and development-focused hockey experience in the region. Over the years, many of our players have progressed to the OHL, Junior, and Professional levels, and we’re excited to continue building on that tradition of success.
